  1. Stubborn

I was living in LA and pursuing music. Which is a fancy way of saying that I worked a day job and had rockstar dreams. Well, there was a girl that I knew and liked that was a musician. And we decided to do some co-writing. She came over to the house and I was playing this appregio in a new diddy. She started making fun of me and singing a lyric about how my hair looked. So almost instantly this song was created. I wrote the entire song in about 5 to 10 minutes. I just so happens to be in my opinion, one of the strongest songs that I’ve written. This version was recorded, but will be redone very, very soon with the production from the online recording studio and Iain Mahanty.

Lyrics

Verse I
You drive 45 in the fast lane
Disregard all the other cars you are the queen of the interstate
Oh, you’re stubborn
You refuse to be old news, got to be on the first page
Spill the pot even when it’s hot need to be centerstage
Oh, you’re stubborn, stubborn

Chorus
Is this a part of your façade?
You create to gain my attention
Think it’s part of an evil plot to win my heart
Oh your stubborn, stubborn

Verse II
Your number one, a giant among, all us little men
To reconcile is not your style, that would box you in, Oh your stubborn, stubborn

Chorus

Verse III
You got two ears you should hear twice as much as you talk
Downplay what I say and I can hear you mock me oh you’re stubborn.
I’m stubborn too
Oh, you’re stubborn
It’s a little trick that I learned from you
Oh, you’re stubborn, stubborn
